This 2.4 GHz Wireless Solar Powered Camera w/Built-in Motion Activation requires no electricity or wiring. It transmits video and audio wirelessly (up to 250 feet) to the receiver when motion is detected.

There are numerous wireless cameras on the market, but while they do transmit to receivers wirelessly, they still need to be plugged in to an electrical outlet for power. But this 2.4 GHz Wireless Solar Powered Camera w/Built-in Motion Activation is a truly wireless camera, receiving all of its required energy from the sun. With no wires to run, this camera installs easily, providing security and convenience in a simple, economical manner.

When the camera's PIR motion sensor detects motion, images and voices are transmitted. Upon receiving these signals, the receiver beeps twice, and the LED flashes for one minute, so you'll know when to record or to view on your TV or monitor. The actual transmission time is adjustable for 10, 20, 30 or 40 seconds, but the camera will continue to transmit as long as the PIR sensor is triggered.

The 2.4 GHz Wireless Solar Powered Camera w/Built-in Motion Activation's solar panel uses the sun's rays to run and maintain a charge to the camera battery during daylight hours. A negligible amount of energy is released by the long-life rechargeable battery to operate the camera at night. While the camera will work after sunset, it requires a minimum light of 3 Lux to capture images.

Mount the camera in any convenient location that gets ample direct sunlight. You can adjust the camera's view angle in any direction, and the PIR motion sensor will sense movement up to 26 feet away. Connect a time-lapse VCR or one of our digital video recorders (sold separately) for constant image capturing, ideal for when you're away from home or office.

Our new Clock Radio with built-in Digital Video Recorder is completely self contained, totally secure, and easy to use. It's a full function Emerson clock radio, but hidden inside is a COLOR - high resolution camera and motion activated DVR!

All you do is touch the “Arm” button on the convenient wireless remote control. The clock will beep once to verify command and quality color video recording will begin the instant motion is detected and will continue until 15 seconds after motion ceases. When you are ready to review your video images, simply press the “disarm” command on the remote control and remove the “postage stamp size” SD (Secure Digital) card from it's hidden compartment.

To playback images, an included SD card reader connects to the USB port of your computer or laptop. Install the card, click on the SD icon and a complete list of images, including time and date stamp will appear on your screen. “Click” on any image and the video stream will play from that point on. You can even speed up, slow down, or “ZOOM IN” during playback. You can save the card or download your images to CD, hard drive, Zip, or any other media of your choice. SD cards can be quickly erased and reused again and again.

User options can be easily changed via the SD card reader and your computer. Images can be recorded as fast as 10 frames per second (fps) or as slow as 1 frame per minute. Record duration after detected motion is also user programmable. The included 64Mb SD card will record 12,000 images.
Larger (optional) cards (128Mb, 256Mb, 512Mb, and 1Gb) will increase image capacity accordingly.
